Attending the working session were Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Duong Van Thong - Standing deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Do Duc Duy - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee and leaders of some departments, localities.

Throughout the study period, in collaboration with international consultants to assess thoroughly the potentials and strengths of Yen Bai province, together with the view of ALPHANAM is the investment coupled with sustainable development, for the past few years, the Group has developed investment ideas that focus on product groups including high quality tourism - services, agricultural products and real estate for low and middle income earners.

After Yen Bai province decided to approve investment policy at the end of May 2018, ALPHANAM Group spent two months conducting survey and study the potentials and advantages of Yen Bai province on the basis of closely linking with the socio-economic development planning of the province, the plannings of each branch and each fields. Based on that, the Group has formulated the idea of ​​investing in the project of Thac Ba lake culture, sports, tourism and auxiliary park.

At the meeting, delegates listened to representatives from Singapore and the Netherlands, presenting the idea of ​​the Thac Ba Lake Culture, Sports, Tourism and auxiliary park on the basis of model resort in Thien Dao lake in China and Como lake in Italy by the similarities with over 1,000 islands and landscapes of natural beauty, wild and magnificent.

It is expected that the project of Thac Ba lake culture, sports, tourist and auxiliary park   will be invested by ALPHANAM Group with a vision to 2050.

Accordingly, the Thac Ba lake area in the future will become an international destination with a population of attractive items, activities such as: yachts, cable car, resorts with systems of hotels, resorts, parks, water world, shopping centers, health care services, cultural villages and urban development.

It is expected that in the future, the project will create jobs for about 4,000 laborers, increase revenue for local budgets and help Yen Bai province attract about 2 million domestic and international visitors each year.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hai petitioned Yen Bai province for the group to cooperate with the consultant units to propose plans and areas expected to invest to be proposed to the provincial leaders for approval. The province shall base itself on the approved planning on the bidding plan for the investor and the ground clearance for the project.

Speaking at the meeting, representatives of departments, localities of Yen Bai expressed their support and appreciation for the scale and ideas of the project. This is a great opportunity to awaken the tourism potential of Thac Ba lake in Yen Bai province.
However, delegates also noted that when implementing the project, investors should assess the positive and negative impacts, and the advantages and disadvantages of the project implementation.

Besides investing in infrastructure, investors should focus on investing in cultural and tourism products; taking care of the environmental protection and study irrigation, hydropower and distrubuting water in the downstream area of ​​Thac Ba Hydropower Plant so as not to affect the future efficiency of the project.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Do Duc Duy wanted the Group to further study the specific cultural products of Yen Bai province to make a difference to attract tourists.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Do Duc Duy agreed with the idea of ​​the project. He proposed adding the impact assessment of the project; advantages and disadvantages in the process of project implementation; make recommendations and suggestions during the preparation of investment as well as during the project implementation, recommendations on the land use. He wanted the Group to further study the specific cultural products of Yen Bai province to make a difference to attract tourists.

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Pham Thi Thanh Tra emphasized: The goal of Yen Bai province is to attract investment but always careful, not rushed; it must be linked investment attraction with sustainable development.

She appreciated the careful preparation of the Group during the past time. The idea of the project is, comprehensive with strategic vision, strong thinking and consistent with the development trend in the country and internation, especially in tourism and real estate. The project ensures the following objectives: forming unique and appropriate tourism products; associated with the requirements of green and sustainable development; being useful, worth living and friendly. If the project becomes a reality, it will be a great opportunity for Yen Bai province to break into tourism.
