YBP - In the evening of October 22, Yen Bai province in collaboration with the Agency for Regional Industry and Trade - Ministry of Industry and Trade held the opening of the Exhibition Fair of industrial and handicraft products in the Northwest - Yen Bai in 2018. Exhibition of industrial, handicraft products in the Northwest - Yen Bai in 2018 is one of the important activities in the 2018 National Industry Promotion Program to further promote the tasks of encouraging industrial development, handicraft, trade promotion. This is also an opportunity for rural industrial enterprises, businesses, visitors to learn about the investment environment and policies to encourage industrial development investment in the provinces in and outside the region. Through this, enterprises in the country will find opportunities for long-term investment and business cooperation in the northwestern region in general and in Yen Bai province in particular.

The fair will take place in 7 days, from 22-28/10/2018 with the scale of 250 booths. This is the largest scale fair ever held in Nghia Lo town.
The fair includes 3 main display areas: Area for advertisement, introduction of industrial and handicraft products by Department of Industry and Trade and Center for Industrial Promotion and Consultancy of Industrial Development; Trade Promotion Center; industrial promotion services, trade promotion and rural industrial production establishments of the participating provinces and cities; Area for displaying and introduction of socio-economic development achievements of Yen Bai province by the People's Committees of districts, towns and some departments in the provincep; Area for commerce, food, general services.
Speaking at the Fair, Mr. Duong Van Tien, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, emphasized: "This fair will help Yen Bai and other provinces and cities in the region and enterprises, industrial - handicraft production establishments have conditions for learning experiences, economic exchanges, investment cooperation, joint venture and cooperation in production and business, introducing industrial and handicraft development achievements; promoting brand, product, service, technology renewal to improve product quality, develop market to sell products".
