Initially, Yen Bai province has deployed, invested and supported the establishment of a safe vegetable production area of ​​more than 17 hectares and 2 hectares of hygienic vegetable production according to the standards of VietGAP; 12 enterprises invested in animal husbandry, applied high-tech agriculture in production; gave VietGAP certification for 3 pig farms, 3 disease-free animal husbandry establishments; formed 13 chain link in closed form which has been confirmed food supply chain safety.

To encourage and attract the business community to invest in hi-tech agricultural production in order to effectively implement the objectives of agricultural restructuring towards goods and value chain promotion. In the coming time, the Department of Planning and Investment will coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and other related agencies to continue reviewing the results of the planning of the agricultural sector, to propose the construction of hi-tech agricultural production zones of the province, in which priority shall be given to the selection of objects of high economic value and rapid application of scientific and technical advances, set up distribution channels for stable and long-term distribution of products in order to bring about economic efficiency and raise the competitiveness of products suitable to the natural, economic and social conditions of each locality; Reviewing land use planning, integrate different resources to improve infrastructure systems to serve production ...
