From November 11 to November 19, the delegation of Yen Bai worked in Valdemarne (France) about the cooperation in the field of developing tourism between Valdemarne and Yen Bai provinces.
This is one of the activities under the cooperation agreement between Yen Bai and Val-de-marne in the period of 2014 - 2019.
In this program, the delegation of Yen Bai province led by Mrs. Le Thi Thanh Binh, Director of Yen Bai Department of Culture- Sport and Tourism, together with leaders of Nghia Lo town and Mu Cang Chai carried out a survey and learned experience tourism activities with the participation of local people; Two sides also discussed about benefit of promotinng campain in tourism as well as the way of management and operation in tourism activity in Val – de - Marne.
The delegation of Yen Bai province met and worked with officials of Val-de-marne about the content of cooperation program and strategy for developing tourism.
The legation also met the ATES to discuss about the benefit of equal tourism and consolidation, about the project of the network as well as the objects of the network. The delegates discussed, exchanged information and shared experience with Val de Marne leaders about plans and projects on tourism that have been implemented in Yen Bai province, in which emphasizing the development of community tourism in Nghia Lo and Mu Cang Chai districts.
Besides, the delegation also visited some new developing tourism products in France such as the model “discovering the street culture” an toursim products which have attracted tourists coming to Paris to experience the cultural value of Indians living in the Northern Station area of Paris (Gare du Nord); visiting the traditional craft of making chocolate by artisans Janin, Renaudie Architect …
After working sessions, two sides proposed some cooperation prospects in the coming time as follows: Supporting to renovate and upgrade the tourism website of Yen Bai province; organizing the tourist arrivals community using the ATES criteria; teaching French for local people doing tourism; supporting to build tourism development strategy in the west of Yen Bai province. Mrs. Le Thi Thanh Binh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that this is a meaningful trip to help the delegation have more information and experience in developing and implementing strategies and objectives of tourism plans and tourism campaign of the province of Val-de-marne, especially in training local people to really become tourism ambassadors to promote their local tourism.
