Yen Binh District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to businesses with many outstanding achievements in production and business in 2018.

In 2018, Yen Binh district established 21 new enterprises and cooperatives to increase the total number of enterprises in Yen Binh district to 222 enterprises (including 8 large-scale enterprises managed by the province).

In 2018, the basic businesses overcame difficulties in product consumption, some areas of production and business and investment of enterprises stably developed in depth ... which contributed to the increase economic growth of the district. State budget revenue in 2018 of the district reached VND 215.7 billion, exceeding 40.4% of the estimate, of which revenues from state-owned enterprises, joint ventures, enterprises and cooperatives accounted for 61.3% of the total balanced revenue (except land). Enterprises created stable jobs for over 3,000 employees, and actively participated in social security activities and new rural construction in the locality.

In an intimate and open atmosphere, businesses frankly shared difficulties and problems related to issues of inspection and examination; capital for businesses; exploitation and protection of water reservoirs, protection of water sources, ensuring downstream flow; output for aquatic products; wood processing planning; insurance policy for workers; vocational training for workers.

Enterprises expected the district to continue creating legal corridors for enterprises to operate, promulgate policies to encourage the production of unburnt materials and early access to information and policies of the central, provincial and district levels on supporting businesses.

At the meeting, Yen Binh leaders highly appreciated the important contributions of enterprises to the district's socio-economic development in the past time. With the viewpoint of the government accompanying enterprises, Yen Binh district will continue to perform well the state management function for enterprises, create favorable conditions to support businesses to develop; strengthen monitoring and supervision, strictly handle many cases of corruption, causing troubles for businesses; continue to improve the investment environment, improve competitiveness, promote administrative reform, urgently put the public administration at commune and district levels into operation; promote in-depth investment, apply advanced management model, strengthen joint ventures and value chains, focusing on sectors and areas that the district has potential.

Yen Binh leaders asked businesses to build appropriate business strategies based on the planning and socio-economic development orientation of the district; proactively proposing, exchanging information and sharing advantages, difficulties and obstacles with branches and government agencies so that the district can promptly find solutions; well complying with legal policies on taxes, land and environment, along with improving the sense of responsibility to the community, sharing with local authorities in implementing social security.

At the meeting, businesses supported over 1 thousand tons of cement for the new rural fund of the district.
