Mr. Kamiji Katsuaki - Deputy Mayor of Yokosuka, Japan welcomed and worked with the delegation of Yen Bai

At the working session, Mr. Duong Van Tien introduced to Japanese side the strength and potentials of Yen Bai province as well as the effectiveness in cooperation between Yokosuka and Yen Bai General Hospital

Mr. Duong Van Tien hoped that in the future, Yen Bai province and Yokosuka city would hold regular meetings, exchanges and contacts of agencies and localities of the two provinces; Yokosuka City enterprises went to survey and explore the investment environment and promote tourism in Yen Bai. Mr. Tien also proposed to establish friendly cooperative relations between Yen Bai province and Yokosuka City in many fields such as health, economy, culture, tourism, environment, labor export ...

Mr. Kamiji Katsuaki - Yokosuka City Mayor thanked the information that the delegation shared and introduced the potentials and strengths of the city. Mr. Kamiji Katsuaki agreed that in the coming time, there will be meetings and exchanges between the two localities to establish deeper and broader cooperation.

At the meeting, Mr. Duong Van Tien also respectfully invited Yokosuka City Mayor to visit Yen Bai Province and attend the Festival of Discovering Mu Cang Chai Terrace fields in September 2019.

Mr.Tien thanked Professor Yoshihide Tanaka - General Manager/Head of Neurosurgery Department who has always paid special attention and assistance to the health sector of Yen Bai province in recent years, highly appreciated the cooperation agreement between the Hospital Yokosuka Kyosai and Yen Bai General Hospital. Basing on the cooperation agreement between two hospitals, Yen Bai General Hospital has sent 2 doctors to attend training on neurosurgery in Japan. Through that, it helps Yen Bai General Hospital to raise the level of cadres so that they can deploy new techniques; especially, people enjoy modern technical services locally without having to go upstairs, helping to reduce costs and time for patients.

Mr. Dương Van Tien, at the same time,  proposed some cooperation contents in the coming time to focus on cooperation in the training of a team of medical experts, study to receive new technology transfer, improve professional qualifications in circuit intervention, neurological surgery, emergency resuscitation ... at Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital, Japan.
