At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee introduced an overview of Yen Bai's land, people and socio-economic development, thereby he expressed the desire to receive common consideration from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the province, especially the promotion of Yen Bai's image of land and people, especially agricultural products of Yen Bai to the international community.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Hieu - Vietnam Consul General in Kunming (China) for the period of 2019-2020, former Deputy Director of Northeast Asia Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed his joy when working in Yen Bai province. He congratulated Yen Bai province on the development achievements in recent years, especially in the fields of economy, health and culture. He said he would continue to care and support the province in promoting images, seeking investment partners and connecting economic development activities, cultural and social exchanges, especially promot key agricultural products of Yen Bai province to the international community.

Previously, the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had a meeting with Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Health, Department of Industry and Trade to expand cooperation activities in the future between Yen Bai province and Yunnan province (China); especially the cooperation in the field of health and promoting the delivery of oranges and grapefruit in Yen Bai province to the list of fruits officially exported to Yunnan province (China).
