YBP - In the morning of November 6, the delegation of Yen Bai province led by Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee visited and worked in Mimasaka city, Japan. Here, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang and Mayor of Mimasaka city signed the Friendship Cooperation Agreement with extensive cooperation activities in a number of areas. Witnessing the signing ceremony, there were also leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
Accordingly, the leaders of Yen Bai province and Mimasaka city of Mimasaka conducted a Signing Ceremony of the Friendship Cooperation Agreement and enhanced the understanding between the peoples of the two provinces and extensive cooperation activities in a number of areas, namely: Collaborating on exchanging and sharing information and experiences in managing and promoting the Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh cultural space in Mimasaka and Yen Bai; encouraging agricultural organizations of both sides to strengthen to exchange relations, especially in the field of management, conservation and raising the value of terraced fields in Mimasaka and Yen Bai; promoting cooperation between colleges and vocational training, international exchange organizations, people's friendship organizations and businesses; supporting each other to promote their culture and tourism in the two localities and at other locations of Vietnam or Japan.
The two sides also agreed to assign the Department of Foreign Affairs of Yen Bai province and the Promotion Department, Department of Planning and Revival, Mimasaka City, Okayama Province to act as the focal point to implement this Cooperation Agreement.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Vice Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee would like to thank Mayor Mimasaka for giving the province's Mission a warm and thoughtful welcome; at the same time, to share with the great loss of Japan and the families of the victims in the recent Hagibis storms; hoped that the friendly and cooperative relationship between Mimasaka city and Yen Bai province will develop more and more, bringing practical benefits to the development of the two localities, and at the same time contribute to deepen the partnership sweeping strategy between the two countries for peace and prosperity in Asia between Japan and Vietnam.
On this occasion, on behalf of the leaders of Yen Bai province, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Vice Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee cordially invited Mr. Seiji Hagiwara - Mayor of Mimasaka City and his colleagues to visit and work in Yen Bai province in the nearest time and attend the Meeting "Meet Japan - Northwest Region" scheduled to be held in September 9, 2020 in Yen Bai province.
Mr. Seiji Hagiwara Mayor of Mimasaka city expressed his joy and warmth when welcomig the delegation of Yen Bai province in Mimasaka. In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited and placed flowers at the bronze statue President Ho Chi Minh in Mimasaka city. This is the first statue of President Ho Chi Minh placed in Japan on the occasion of the two countries preparing to celebrate 45 years of establishing diplomatic relations; visited Mimasaka Health Sports Vocational School.
