The aragliding festival "Flying over Pouring Water on Terraced Fields” takes place every year in Mu Cang Chai.

In Mu Cang Chai: A ceremony in response to the “Vietnamese people travel Vietnam” programme will be organised on May 30. The district will also hold arts programmes on Saturday evenings from May 30 to July 20.

“Water Pouring season” will be held from May to Mid of the July. The  aragliding festival called “Flying over Pouring Water on Terraced Fields” will take place every Saturday and Sunday from May 30 to July 15. Activities helping tourists experience the lives of the H’Mong ethnic people, meanwhile, will be held from May 25 to July 10. The district will also hold arts programmes on Saturday evenings from May 30 to July 20.

Tourists will have the chance to enjoy local cuisine, buy typical products, and try their hand at farming.

The festival aims to introduce tourist attractions, tourism products, and the cultural identity of the H’Mong ethnic minority group in Mu Cang Chai district to both domestic and foreign visitors.

In Nghia Lo Town: There are many traditional festivals in order attract travellers on Xipxi festial of Thai peope (in July Lunar Calendar); Muong Lo Culture-Tourism 2020 with many activitties: the festival opening; exhibiting pictures; trade fairs; cusines; street shows and many community tours associated with learning about local ethnic culture, tours of historical, cultural relics and spiritual tourist sites; night markets at every Saturday night.

In Tram Tau District: sell ​​and introduce local products at Tram Tau hot mineral area on Saturdays and Sundays; public cultural activities in Hat Luu, Xa Ho, Ban Cong communes and Tram Tau towns on Saturday and Sunday evenings; exploring and exploring Ta Xua Peaks in Ban Cong commune, Ta Chi Nhu peak  and Cu Vai in Xa Ho commune to help tourist to experience ethnic culture and local cuisine in communes and towns; organize Ta Xua mountain climbing in Ban Cong commune in the middle of September 2020.

In Van Chan district: Festival of pounding Com in Tu Le commune; the honoring ceremony of Suoi Giang tea tree which are activities responding to the Muong Lo Cultural and Tourism Festival and exploring the National Landscape of Mu Cang Chai terraced fields in September 2020. Besides, there are tours associted with knowing about local ethnic culture; adventure tourism activities at Tien Nu cave in Tu Le commune and Thien Cung cav in  Suoi Giang commune.

In Yen Bai city: Full Moon Festival will be held on August 15 (Lunar Calendar); Tour of historical, cultural and spiritual sites, discover and experience local agricultural products in 2020.

In Yen Binh district there are many activities such as: trade fair in Tan Nguyen commune in the mid of July, in Cam Nhan in the mid of August; boat racing in Thac Ba lake in the mid of September and trade fair associated with cultural, sport and tourism in Dai Minh commune in November 2020 will consist of many activities such as: rural markets, traditional customal shows, Bach Ha rice exhibition….. Besides the district will also organize tours to visit historical, cultural and spiritual tourist sites, to explore and experience local agricultural products in 2020.

In Luc Yen district: Tourism Programme “Going to jewelry land” in 2020 will be held Luc Yen in November 2020.  The district will also organize tours to visit historical, cultural and spiritual tourist sites, to explore and experience local agricultural products in 2020.

In Van Yen district: The opening Cao Son village of Culture and Tourism  will be held in the third quarter 2020; the practice festival of worshiping Goddess is held in Van Yen district in association with the inauguration of Dong Cuong temple and the New Rice Festival is expected to be held in October 2020. Tour of historical, cultural and spiritual relics at Dong Cuong temple, Nhac Son temple ...; and explore and experience local agricultural products in communes: Tan Hop, Phong Du Thuong, Quang Minh, Na Hau, Vien Son…in 2020.

In Tran Yen district: There is a sightseeing tour of historical and cultural relics in the battlefield and historical sites in the district; spiritual tourist sites; discover and experience local agricultural products at Van Hoi lotus pond, take photos of Venus Minh Quan film studio, primeval forest of Na mountain, Doi cave, Tho waterfall, Que waterfall, Ao Xanh in 2020.
