In 2019, Tran Yen district has 1.900 ha of bamboo shoots with total productivity of 22.400 ton which was bought by Van Dat Company, Yen Thanh Company and other buyers in 20 places in communes with total worth of VND 70 billion.
Planting Bat Do bamboo shoot continue helping farmers in these areas raise income, create jobs and stablize their lives.
At present, Tran Yen districts has total area of 3.600 ha of Bat Do bamboo shoot in which 2.500 ha are for sale.
In order to make advantages in selling bamboo shoot product for planters, Tran Yen district leaders asked leaders of communes to well manage in consuming products, ensure the security in buying product; guide bamboo planters techniques in harvesting and preliminary processing.
