Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, leaders of departments, agencies, localities and more than 100 enterprises in the province attended the program.

In the friendly and open atmosphere, enterprises, cooperatives raised a number of difficulties and obstacles that require the province to solve such as: The current power supply is unstable, causing production and business activities to be interrupted, equipment and machinery affected; resolving the approval of Nghia Lo solid waste treatment project; consider and approve conditions for land lease, procedures for tax refund for enterprises; reducing road maintenance fees for transportation businesses; disbursements for agricultural production projects along the value chain; divestment issues for joint stock companies so that enterprises can take initiative in production and business; guide entry procedures for foreign experts to work at businesses. Many businesses and cooperatives are concerned about whether the social insurance support for employees will be supported by the province or not.

At the meeting, leaders of related departments and agencies answered questions of enterprises, and informed about the province's support policies for businesses and cooperatives before the effects of Covid-19 epidemic.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee received the opinions and recommendations of enterprises and cooperatives. After this conference, the provincial People's Committee will urge relevant departments and branches to promptly answer and remove obstacles for enterprises and cooperatives in the shortest time.

He also emphasized that in recent years, Yen Bai province has paid attention to removing difficulties for businesses and cooperatives before the effects of Covid-19 epidemic. The province has directed to strengthen close coordination among agencies related to the level of investment policy decision for businesses; issued a new set of policies to support businesses, especially start-ups, and organized a meeting to directly address difficulties for businesses affected by Covid-19.

Sharing with businesses’ difficulties, Mr. Chien Thang also hoped that businesses and cooperatives would continue to accompany with the province to overcome difficulties and actively welcome opportunities, early recover and develop, contributing to the provincial economy.
