Over the past years, VietinBank Vietnam in general and VietinBank Yen Bai Branch in particular have performed well the business of banking services and have made many contributions to Yen Bai province in the fields of finance, credit, contributing to the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, especially actively participating in supporting the field of social security. Since 2011, VietinBank has supported Yen Bai province with 33.28 billion VND, of which, VietinBank Vietnam has supported 32,993 billion VND, ViettinBank Yen Bai has supported 287 million VND.  Particularly in 2020, VietinBank has supported social security for Yen Bai province with a budget of 5.5 billion VND, of which: support for overcoming the effects of Covid-19 pandemic is 500 million VND; building 75 houses according to Project 08 of 3 billion VND; building community culture house; supported 2 billion VND for the Provincial Study Promotion Fund. VietinBank also coordinated with the Provincial Public Administration Service Center to provide a modern and convenient payment solution to organizations and individuals in the collection and payment process of fees and charges; coordinated with the People's Committee of Yen Bai city to provide non-cash payment solutions in the area and provide a smart card solution linking the management of civil servants, civil servants and financial spending ...

Speaking at the meeting, VietinBank Chairman Le Duc Tho expressed his delight and excitement at the attention of provincial leaders, creating all the best favorable conditions to help VietinBank develop, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Yen Bai province. He affirmed: in the coming time, VietinBank would always accompany and commit to fully meet the capital needs and banking services to serve the programs and projects of the province, contributing to effectively implementing the goals set out by the 19th Provincial Party Congress. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed: Yen Bai will create all conditions for legal procedures and a favorable business environment for VietinBank to build an image and brand name in the province; prioritize for VietinBank to approach customer groups using online public services; implementing models of smart cities, e-government ... He also hoped that VietinBank would provide and introduce potential customers to Yen Bai province; research to expand the system of transaction offices, ATM payment services in the province; well implement social security policies in the province.
