YBP - In the afternoon of January 15, 2021, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance held the 29th Conference of the Steering Committee for Renovation, Development and Improvement of the Provincial Collective Economy Efficiency and the 2nd Meeting of the Inter-Executive Committee of Cooperative Alliance (Session VI) aiming at assessing the province's collective economic situation in 2020, implementing the tasks in 2021.

In 2020, the Provincial Steering Committee for innovation, development and improvement of collective economic efficiency actively directed and implemented the documents of the central and provincial levels, urging and inspecting the operational situation of the collective economic sector, cooperatives. Thereby, the provincial collective economic sector had very positive results. The whole province established 93 new cooperatives, reaching 155% of the plan; nearly 1,300 newly cooperative groups were established, reaching over 128% of the plan.
By the end of 2020, the whole province has 503 cooperatives with nearly 28,000 members, including 465 cooperatives are operating under the Law on Cooperatives 2012, 38 cooperatives stopped working due to not reorganized or dissolved under the Law on Cooperatives 2012; over 4,400 cooperative groups attractes more than 26,500 members.
Despite being heavily influenced by the Covid-19 epidemic, thanks to the timely implementation of the support policies of the central and the province, many cooperatives have expanded production, developed and traded general services, invested in equipment to improve production capacity, expanded joint ventures, associates, therefore, revenue in 2020 is relatively stable, contributing to ensuring stable and regular jobs for local workers, contributing actively on the socio-economic development of the province.
The average revenue of the cooperative reached 2 billion VND/cooperative, the average profit of the cooperative was estimated at 374 million VND/cooperative. Submission to the state budget reached 36 billion VND, an increase of 2.8% compared to 2019.
In 2021, the Steering Committee for innovation, development and improvement of the collective economic efficiency of the province strives to maintain and ensure efficient and sustainable operation of at least 250 cooperatives; convert 10 cooperative models into new cooperatives; establish over 60 new cooperatives, over 1,000 cooperative groups; maintain stable jobs for more than 8,000 employees in cooperatives with an average income of 60 million VND/person/year.
