According to the PCI 2020 announced by VCCI on April 15th, Yen Bai ranked 33th, up 3 grades in comparision with 2019.

Despite the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the authorities of Yen Bai province, departments and agencies have also made efforts to improve the investment environment.

From 2016 to 2020, Yen Bai province has significantly improved in investment and business environment, attracting investment in the area, from position 47 to 33, with a total score of nearly 63.3, up 3 grades. 

This is the 16th consecutive year that VCCI has published a set of indicators to evaluate and rank the quality of economic governance, the convenience and friendliness of the business environment and administrative reform efforts of the provincial government  and cities in Vietnam, thereby promoting the development of the private economic sector.
