Participating in this mission, there are 30 health workers. These are all officers, doctors, nurses with experience, capacity and qualifications to meet the requirements of the task of preventing the Covid-19 epidemic. This is also the 8th delegation of Yen Bai province to support provinces to prevent and combat the epidemic. Before that, Yen Bai province had 7 times to send medical delegations to support localities in fighting the epidemic, respectively Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, and most recently Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. 4 delegations to support Bac Ninh and Bac Giang successfully completed their tasks; 3 delegations are currently on duty in the two "hottest" epidemic centers, namely Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, expressed her emotion to the delegation on the way to support Dong Nai province to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic. She said, up to this point, Yen Bai province is very lucky and happy to be still a "green area" of the country, one of the very few remaining provinces that have not had any infections in the community. To achieve that result is the effort and determination of the whole political system, all levels and branches, and the joint effort and consensus of the people of all ethnic groups in the province, including the contribution of frontline forces: health care, army, police.

She praised and highly appreciated the volunteering efforts of the medical staff of Yen Bai province who were ready to go to the most difficult and complicated places. She emphasized that supporting the province is also a common responsibility, a responsibility for the country, at the same time, it also helps prevent the spread of the disease to other provinces, including Yen Bai province. She wished that the delegation to support Dong Nai province in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic this time continued to make efforts, try, overcome all difficulties and hardships, and successfully complete the assigned tasks.
