Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan awarded certificates of merit to collectives with many outstanding achievements in production and business activities.

In the first 9 months of the year, 246 enterprises and 69 cooperatives were newly established, which brought the total number of enterprises and cooperatives across the province to over 2,630 enterprises with a total registered capital of about VND 29,000 billion  and over 570 cooperatives with a total charter capital of over VND1,320 billion ; attracting and creating jobs for over 42,000 employees and 28,000 members in cooperatives with an average income of VND 5.5-6.7 million/person/month. In the first 9 months of 2021, enterprises and cooperatives paid taxes to the state budget of over VND 935 billion, accounting for about 61.3% of the total balanced revenue in the area (an increase of nearly 15% over the same period in 2020). Businesses and cooperatives actively participated in charity programs, social security work, contributing to poverty reduction, new rural construction in the locality.

In an intimate and open atmosphere, enterprises and entrepreneurs reviewed the tradition of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day, the important contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs to the socio-economic development of the province in recent years. Businesses and entrepreneurs expressed thanks to the Party Committees and authorities at all levels for accompanying to remove difficulties and create all conditions for enterprises to operate stably, especially in the period difficulties due to the disease. Enterprises also expressed their determination to rise up and wish to continue to receive the attention and direction of the province, coordination of departments, agencies and sectors for businesses to develop sustainably and grow stronger in the future.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan emphasized: Yen Bai province determines that the key task in 2022 will be to safely adapt, flexibly, and effectively control the COVID-19 epidemic; focus on investment in infrastructure development, attracting investment according to the policies issued by the central government and the province to create conditions for economic recovery and development, especially after controlling the epidemic situation.

With the view that "benefits are harmonized, risks are shared", the Provincial People's Committee committed to accompanying and sharing with businesses, entrepreneurs and other economic sectors; efforts to remove difficulties and promoting production and business development in the spirit of safety against the epidemic; timely and fully deploying policies and solutions to support businesses and cooperatives affected by the Covid-19 epidemic in accordance with regulations.

Departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns and city uphold the responsibility and example of the head; not allow stagnation, congestion, and delay in solving work, especially administrative procedures for people and businesses.

The province's businesses and entrepreneurs continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, overcoming difficulties, challenges, actively respond to and prevent the Covid-19 epidemic; at the same time, improving the quality of management, applying science and technology, digital technology in production and business.

Provincial Business Associations, Young Entrepreneurs Associations, and Women Entrepreneurs Associations continue to play a good role as a bridge between businesses and localities, state management agencies, and protect the legitimate interests of businesses and members.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes that with the spirit of initiative, determination, overcoming difficulties, each business and entrepreneur will continue to create their own brand, contribute to the overall development of the province, contribute to join hands with Party committees and authorities at all levels to build Yen Bai province for green development, harmony, identity and happiness.
