In 2022, dispite the effect of covid-19 epidemic, bussiness activities of FDI enterprises  in Yen Bai province get good result.  Total revenue of foreign-invested enterprises in the province in 2021 reached about 123.11 million USD, equivalent to about 2,893 billion dong.

Yen Bai province received and granted Investment Registration Certificates for 7 projects with total revenue of VND 48,55 millon. Yen Bai province also issued 07 notices to foreign investors (including foreign individuals and enterprises) meeting the conditions for capital contribution, share purchase, contribute to domestic enterprises. The total value of capital contribution, share purchase and capital contribution according to charter capital is 6.81 million USD, equivalent to 156.96 billion VND.

In 2022, Yen Bai province is expected to receive and grant investment registration certificates for 03 foreign direct investment projects with a total registered investment of about 15 million USD, equivalent to about 345 billion dong. It is expected that the realized investment capital of FDI projects which have been granted investment registration certificates will reach about USD 32.6 million, equivalent to about VND 770 billion. These project invest in fields: textile, husbandry, wood production and other projects in mineral exploitation.

Departments of the province will continue to guide and help investors to complete procedures in granting and adjusting Decision on approving investment policies; investment resgistration certigicates and solve difficulties appearing in the process of implementing project. Continue to review investment projects that are behind schedule withdraw the Investment Certificate/Investment Registration Certificate.

Strengthen and improve the quality of investment promotion activities; improve investment promotion and promotion mechanisms and policies; create an open, transparent and attractive investment environment to foreign investors; seek investment opportunities; strengthen the state management in the field of foreign direct investment in the area, promptly handle investors' petitions in accordance with current laws.
