The Paragliding Festival "Flying on the water season" has become an annual event, in order to honor the value of "Mu Cang Chai Terraces Landscape" which has been recognized as a special National Monument by the Prime Minister; honor the value of national historical relic where Cao Pha Guerrilla Team was founded. Here, visitors can fly by paragliding service, enjoy the panoramic view of terraced fields in the area being transplanted by the People for the 2022 crop.

This year, the Paragliding Festival "Flying over the water season" with many innovations, is the starting point for tourism in 2022, contributing to the implementation of the project "Building Mu Cang Chai district into a tourist district". Through this event, Mu Cang Chai district called, opened, supported and created the best conditions for organizations, businesses and individuals to invest in the district, promoted the advantages to promote local socio-economic development.

Within the framework of the Program, visitors can participate in community tourism activities, experience the cultural values ​​of the Thai and Mong ethnic groups, experience the cultivation of terraced fields, enjoy local products through the highland market.

Right after the launching and opening ceremony of the Festival, delegates and many visitors had a chance to admire the flying performance of 50 pilots. Adventurous tourists can experience flying over the terraced fields of the majestic Northwest mountains.
