According to the report of the Department of Industry and Trade, up to now, in the province, there are 115 valid mineral mining licenses of 99 organizations and enterprises (the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment issued 41 permits, the province issued 74 licenses), total mining capacity is 4,050,964 m3/year and 16,509,009 tons/year, out of a total mining area of ​​1,547.98 ha. Currently, there are 69 mines being exploited; 21 unexploited mines. Currently, there are 88 mineral processing factories in the province that have been granted investment certificates or investment policies, of which 39 are in operation.

The industrial production value in 11 months of the mining industry (at 2010 constant prices) reached over VND 5,400 billion, up 11% over the same period; equal to 91% of the year plan (the plan is VND 6,000 billion).

Mining and mineral processing activities of enterprises in the province have created jobs for over 7,860 workers, with an average income of about VND 7 million/person, making increasing contributions to the state budget.

Frankly speaking at the meeting, representatives of businesses all said that currently gasoline prices are increasing, supply is scarce, causing transportation costs as well as the price of materials for production to skyrocket, selling expenses increase, causing many difficulties for businesses.

Representatives of businesses also suggested that the province removes difficulties, focusing on a group of issues: difficulties and problems in the procedures for land allocation, land lease, change of land use purpose, forest use purpose; difficulties and obstacles in compensation and ground clearance; difficulties and obstacles in the price of raw materials, lack of input materials, especially lack of diesel oil for production; problems related to mineral planning, mining, processing of minerals, construction of roads; problems related to administrative procedures, tax policies, banking, access to capital, product consumption markets and related technical solutions such as increasing scale, capacity...

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan directly answered businesses' problems. Representatives of industry leaders explained and clarified the problems that businesses and cooperatives were facing, as well as suggested solutions to promptly solve them, contributing to the recovery and stabilization of production in the near future.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan sincerely thanked and received all questions and recommendations from businesses and cooperatives. He suggested that, with the answers at the conference that did not satisfy businesses, the Provincial People's Committee assigned departments, branches and localities to continue studying, giving official answers in writing, and sending them to the Party Committee of Provincial agencies and businesses, Provincial Business Associations and related businesses. For petitions that are beyond the province's handling authority, request departments, branches and localities to urgently advise and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to report and propose to ministries and branches to consider and remove difficult for businesses.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan suggested that in the coming time, departments, branches and localities always accompany and really support and create conditions, promptly take solutions to remove difficulties for enterprises; well implement solutions on administrative reform, improve the investment environment, and shorten the time to carry out administrative procedures, especially those related to land, investment, construction, creating favorable conditions for enterprises in implementing investment projects, production, business, and product consumption.
