Provincial leaders presented certificates of merit to students who won high prizes in the national exam for excellent students in the school year 2022 - 2023

Over the years, along with the socio-economic development of the province, Education and Training has always received the attention and investment of the Party Committee, the government and all ethnic groups in the province. The province has developed and implemented many mechanisms and policies, creating favorable conditions for Education and Training to develop.

In the exam to select excellent students at the lower secondary level, the whole province had 310 students from 11/11 teams representing 09 districts, towns and cities winning prizes.

In the exam for selecting excellent students in high school, the province had 991 students participating in the exam in 10 subjects. As a result, 454 students won prizes, with 10 first prizes, 60 second prizes, 103 third prizes and 281 consolation prizes. In particular, in the National Competition for excellent students, Yen Bai province had 33 students winning prizes, which made Yen Bai province rank 6th out of 15 provinces in the Northern Midlands and Mountains, rank 27th out of 63 provinces and cities. At the National Science and Technology Competition, there were 02 projects participating and both projects won prizes.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee recognized and praised the efforts of the teachers and students in the past school year. He suggested that the Provincial Education and Training sector continue to synchronously implement solutions to promote the development and improve the quality of comprehensive education, as a foundation for improving the quality of spearhead education; detecting, fostering and improving the quality of excellent and gifted students in all districts, town and city; strive to increase the number of excellent students; build and improve the quality of teachers and educational administrators to ensure professional qualifications.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed to the Party Committees, authorities at all levels and the Education and Training sector to better implement the motto of socializing education and fostering students; propagating and mobilizing people to do well the work of education socialization, study promotion and talent promotion to have more resources to promote the people's potential, intelligence as well as material facilities to take care of the Education and Training career.

The immediate task of the Education and Training sector is to focus on doing a good job of enrolling students at the beginning level, ensuring on time, regulations and meeting the learning needs of the people's children. Prepare well all conditions to hold a serious, safe High School Exit exam; help Yen Bai students achieve the highest results.

At the Commendation Ceremony, 198 teachers and students with excellent achievements in the school year 2022-2023 were commended and rewarded. The Provincial Study Promotion Association awarded prizes to 28 students who won first, second and third prizes in the national competition for excellent students.
