On June 21st, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of Yen Bai PPC welcomed Mr. Brian Allemekinders – Head of Development Department, Counselor (Development) as Head of the Delegation on the occasion of the Delegation's visit to Yen Bai province.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan welcomed the delegation to work and visit in Yen Bai province.
Also, Mr. Tuan informed the delegation about socieconomy of Yenbai province recent times; priorities of Yen Bai on developing all aspects of people’s lives to gain the target: “Green - Harmony - Identity - Happiness”.
The Chairman of YenBai PPC expressed his wish that in the coming time, the Government of Canada will pay attention to support ODA for Yen Bai province to invest in wastewater treatment projects, projects on construction of roads, projects on anti-erosion, climate change adaptation and green growth; as well as and other loans to invest in small-scale projects in the fields of health, education, agricultural and rural development; natural disaster prevention; improving capacity for women developing eoconomy…
The Yen Bai leader also suggested Canada Government and investors to cooperating with YenBai province in boost the province’s agriculture development; supporting training and developing human source for agriculture field; supporting the transfer of application of scientific and technical advances in agricultural production which is suitable for conditions of Yen Bai province.
Thanks for warmly welcome by Yen Bai province leaders, Mr. Brian Allemekinders - Head of Development Department, Counselor (Development) shared his enjoyment when visiting many landscape in Yen Bai. He also expressed his wish to cooperate with Yen Bai province in many fields: agriculture, education, healthcar, human training… also a bridge which connect Canadian investors to come and seek chances to work in Yen Bai province.
On this occation, the Delegation of Canada Emabassy will work with branches and locals about the project: “Promoting Resilience, Inclusion and Innovative Transformation of Small and Medium Enterprises in Yen Bai Province (SPRINT). The project starts will last 6 years (starts in June 2023) in Van Yen and other localities in Yen Bai with total budget of the project of about 168 billion VND. This is a non-refundable ODA project of the Government of Canada for Vietnam and has been approved and funded by Global Affairs Canada
