Yen Bai province signed a cooperation agreement with 7 technical universities

On the side of the delegation, there were leaders of the Higher Education Department (Ministry of Education and Training); leaders of 7 universities including: Hanoi University of Civil Engineering; Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology; Danang University of Science and Technology; Hanoi University of Science and Technology; University of Transportation; University of Mining and Geology; Irrigation University.

Receiving and working with the delegation, on the side of Yen Bai province were Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen The Phuoc - Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; leaders of some departments and branches of the province.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Over the past years, Yen Bai province has made many efforts to exploit and promote its potentials and advantages to attract investment in order to develop socio-economic quickly and sustainably and pay special attention to the field of Education - Training and human resource development.

In addition to the central government's policies, Yen Bai province has issued specific policies to improve the quality of human resources and attract high-quality human resources in the fields of healthcare, information technology, and transportation, digital transformation, education and training.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan affirmed: The signing of a cooperation agreement between Yen Bai province and 7 universities is an important and practical activity, stemming from local practical needs. Especially the content related to technology transfer to serve the community, towards the protection and development of a green, clean, safe environment and a peaceful and happy life of the people.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan said that the province is committed to sharing information, creating conditions for 7 technical universities to access projects, master plans, plans, programs, topics and projects related to the socio-economic development of the province and effectively implement the cooperation contents in the Memorandum of Understanding.

He expected that in the coming time, 7 universities will further strengthen the cooperation relationship with the province, regularly connecting, sharing and accompanying the province in the socio-economic development.

Speaking at the meeting, Associate Profesors Doctor Pham Duy Hoa - Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering believed that the cooperation between 7 universities and Yen Bai province will have positive effects and commits to strictly implement the agreement  signed.

At the meeting, Yen Bai province signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with 7 Technical Universities. In which, Yen Bai province will share information related to the socio-economic situation, the need for innovation in science and technology of the province; support group 7 schools in implementing technology transfer cooperation activities with enterprises in the province; appoint staff to participate in training and retraining courses to improve the quality of human resources; arrange staff to participate in the development and coordination of implementation of programs, projects, topics of scientific research and technology transfer, infrastructure development, policy formulation in service of  socioeconomic development strategy;…
