With the goal of business success is the success of the province, Yen Bai has aggressively implemented uniformly supported solutions to remove difficulties for enterprises, helping businesses operate and produce stably, contributing significantly to the socio economic development of the province in the past years.

The number of newly-established enterprises increased; The rate of unprofitable enterprises gradually reduced. In 2016, the province has granted business registration certificates to 189 new enterprises established with a total registered capital of over 1,700 billion. To date, the province has more than 1,500 enterprises. The operation now gradually stabilize, improve the efficiency of production and business activities, ensure life, jobs for employees, contribute positively to the economic development of the local society.

In 2016, the GDP growth rate in Yen Bai province (compared price to 2010) is estimated at 7.3%. The economic structure has shifted in the right direction: Agriculture, forestry accounts 24%; industry - construction accounts 28.6%; services accounts 47.4%. Total investment is estimated at 9,877 billion VND. 2016 is also the year of Yen Bai province exceeded revenue targets. This is the result reflecting the efforts of the enterprises community and series of measures to support Yen Bai province in recent years.
