The Yen Bai provincial delegation visited and worked in Mokpo City, Korea

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee, cordially thanked the feelings of the leaders of Mokpo City, especially the feelings of the National Assembly member for the delegation during this working visit. Briefly informing about Yen Bai province's potentials, strengths and socio-economic development situation in recent times, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan said: Yen Bai is a province in the Northern Midland and Mountainous region, located on the economic corridor of Kunming - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh. Yen Bai has a diverse transportation network with potential for land, tourism resources, minerals and a favorable investment and business environment. In particular, in recent years, Yen Bai province has paid attention to implementing many solutions to promote vocational training, improve human resource quality.

Mr. Tuan hoped that through this working session, the two localities of Yen Bai and Mokpo would develop cooperative relations in many fields, especially in industry, culture, tourism, sustainable development and environmental protection.

National Assembly member KIM WON-I was very pleased with the information shared by Yen Bai province's delegation. He also introduced the potentials and strengths of his locality. Accordingly, Mokpo City, located in Jeollanam-do province of Korea, is a dynamically developing and sustainable urban area, playing an important role in the economy and tourism of Jeollanam-do province and Korea with the largest seaport in southwestern Korea.

The National Assembly member also hoped that in the coming time, Yen Bai and Mokpo would cooperate in fields such as investment, trade, tourism, labor,...

After that, Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan along with the provincial delegation visited and worked at the Deabul National Industrial Complex in Mokpo City.

At the working session, General Director Kim Hyo Kyon said that Deabul National Industrial Complex currently has over 400 enterprises and investors operating in fields and industries such as shipbuilding, automotive manufacturing, machinery, chemicals... The companies here are currently in great need of attracting and recruiting labor to work in the industrial park, especially in the field of shipbuilding (electrical, painting, welding...) to meet the recruitment requirements of the Industrial Park in the coming time.

Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan informed about the situation of vocational training in Yen Bai province in recent time. He said that Yen Bai has the Vocational College, which is the largest vocational training and education center in Yen Bai province. On average, each year the Vocational College of Yen Bai Province trains more than 3,500 students, specializing in fields such as mechanical engineering automation, electrical engineering, painting, welding, etc... which ensures the quality requirements and vocational skills immediately after graduation, meeting the demand for large enterprises inside and outside the province.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan also extended an invitation, hoping that in the future, the General Director would arrange time to visit and work in Yen Bai province. Yen Bai committed to cooperate in developing training programs for exported laborers to work in the Industrial Park. At the same time, Yen Bai hoped that the Daebul National Industrial Complex would share more experience in building high-tech industrial parks with Yen Bai in the coming time.
