On November 11, a delegation from the Yen Bai Provincial People's Council, led by Mr. Ta Van Long, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and inspected several economic development models in Tran Yen District.

Mr. Ta Van Long along with the delegation visited the poultry farming model of Mr. Hoang Ngoc Minh in group 11, Co Phuc Town with annual income of over 200 million VND after deducting expenses; the mulberry fields in Lan Dinh hamlet and the Hanh Le Mulberry Cooperative in Truc Dinh Hamlet, Viet Thanh Commune; the Que Hoi Cooperative in Dao Thinh Commune; and the silk cocoon processing factory of Yen Bai Mulberry Company located in Bao Dap Commune. The average revenue of the cooperative in 2023 reached 97 billion VND and is expected to exceed 110 billion VND this year. The cooperative has provided stable employment for 70 workers, with an average income ranging from 6 million to 8 million VND/person/month.
Mr. Ta Van Long visited the mulberry cultivation and silkworm rearing model of the Hanh Le Cooperative in Truc Dinh Hamlet, Viet Thanh Commune.
During his visit to inspect economic development models in Tran Yen District, Mr. Ta Van Long recognized and praised the efforts of businesses, cooperatives, and families that have been proactive in economic development. He noted their active application of scientific and technical advancements, as well as their implementation of production linkages that enhance the value of goods, contributing to the local budget and providing job opportunities for residents.
Mr. Ta Van Long expressed his hope that in the future, businesses, cooperatives, and families would continue to innovate their thinking and production and business methods, as well as engage with both domestic and international markets to further enhance their operational effectiveness.
He also urged the Tran Yen district government to strengthen communication efforts and effectively implement the support mechanisms and policies from the province and district aimed at developing agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. This would create favorable conditions for businesses to expand production and operations, as well as enhance efforts to attract investors for project implementation in the area, contributing to the successful achievement of the economic development goals set forth in the district's Party Congress resolution.
