Mr. Do Duc Duy introduced DIC Corp about Yen Bai potentials and strengths on tourism.

Mr. Do Duc Duy – Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang – Vice Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee; Leaders of Planning and Investment Department; Resource and Environment Department; Culture – Sport and Tourism Department; Agirculture – Rural Development Department; Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee Office, leaders of Tran Yen and Yen Binh districts attended the working session.

The delegation and Provincial leaders made survey some areas in Van Hoi (Tran Yen district) and Thac Ba lake (in Yen Binh district). In the survey, Mr. Do Duc Duy and deparments introduced about Yen Bai’s potentials and strengths; information on infrastructure and provincial policies on investment attraction.

After survey, at the working session with local leaders, Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan spoke highly of Yen Bai potentials. Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan also expressed his desire to seek effective investment opportunities which are incordance with conditions and planning of Yen Bai province.

Mr. Tuan also spoke that potentials and natural topography, especially Van Hoi lake, are suitable for developing sport tourism to attract domestic and foreign investors coming to Yen Bai.

Through survey and research on topography, transport connection of the proposed project areas in Van Hoi and Thac Ba lake, DIC Corp’s delegation proposed the idea of ​​investing project on building a golf complex, hotel complex, resort, entertainment center, game area and clean farm with a scale of about 1,000 hectares.

Besides, DIC Corp also planned to exploit tours in Thac Ba Lake in which visitors would go sightseeing landscapes and enjoy local cuisine as well as exploit hot stream tours in Van Chan district, Nghia Lo town…

DIC Corp plans to conduct exploration tours of Thac Ba lake, sightseeing cruises, sightseeing landscapes and enjoy local cuisine. In addition the DIC Corp will explore the hot spring tour in Van Chan district, travel in Nghia Lo town and some other localities.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Do Duc Duy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee affirmed: Yen Bai province has made efforts to attract investment; promoted reform of administrative procedures, solved investment procedures quickly;

Yen Bai has also promulgated mechanism to create a friendly and safe environment for enterprises to invest in. Yen Bai is always interested in creating favorable conditions and encouraging enterprises to invest in big projects in the province;

Mr. Do Duc Duy supported DIC Corp's investment idea and pledged to accompany with the company. If DIC Corp decided to invest in Yen Bai, the province would establish a task group to assign the departments, branches and localities to concentrate on assisting enterprises with administrative procedures, land procedures and supplying information for the bussiness.
