Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee together with representatives of departments and branches and more than 70 enterprises attended the meeting.

This is the first time the programme “Meeting enterprises” has been held in Nghia Lo town. This is the opportunity for provincial leaders to receive the problems of businesses, investors who are investing in the West of Yen Bai province.

In an open and friendly atmosphere, representatives of businesses frankly raised their recommendations, proposals such as: mechanisms and policies for collecting taxes and fees for the collection of mineral resources, issuing license for enterprises which are exploiting sand and gravel for construction works in the area

Besides, the enterprises also raised the suggestions: the concentration of the inspection; support and guide enterprises to make reports on tax work; reduction in the number of inspections in the year to avoid the time for enterprises...

The enterprises also gave ideas that the province needs to pay attention to creating favorable conditions for enterprises in the locality to work and lease land, to help enterprises quickly access to mechanisms and policies in favor of enterprises;

Especially, agricultural enterprises wanted provincial leaders to support them to increase the value of oranges when producing VietGap standards for Van Chan citrus fruits and attending in the chain of association to raise the production value; Facilitating enterprises to get early access to provincial agro-forestry projects, technical assistance in cultivation, and finding out market for products…

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Vice Chairman of PPC stressed that for the past years, enterprises and businessmen have played a very important role in economic development, contributing to poverty reduction, creating jobs for workers and implementing well social security in the province. Yen Bai province has committed to working with enterprises, timely solving difficulties and creating the best conditions for business’ development. Yen Bai province also expected enterprises to actively restructure and re-evaluate the results in production.  Therefore, each enterpise has to make direction in determining the business field  to suit the market, apply science and technology in production and good management to improve production and business efficiency.

Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang said that in 2018, the general orientation of the province has continued to focus on administrative reform, especially the reform of administrative procedures related to tax and land.

Along with that, the province will give priority on the development of infrastructure, especially traffic development, Prioritize investment promotion, promote products, especially products which are the strength of the local.

He expected enterprises in the west of the province to promote the spirit of dynamic, creative to exploit the potential and strength of the locality, continue to invest in promoting activities To increase the efficiency of production and business, contributing to boosting the socio-economic development, solving labor and employment in the localities.
