At present, many products have potentials in particular quality such as the products of the village of Luc Yen gemstone painting, Nghia An brocade (Nghia Lo); mulberry and Mien Dong in Tran Yen, weaving shrimp-trap in Yen Binh... or special products such as chicken, pigs, honey, high quality rice ...; high quality products such as cardamom, Bat Do bamboo shoots ... that have not been branded.
Many brand names have been built in the form of trademarks, geographical indications such as " Van Yen Cinnamon ", " Muong Lo Rice ", "Van Chan oranges" but not much used in trade but only used in the promotion of trade and promotion of products because it is not possible to set up a system to manage brand, manage product quality and link up the production chain. Therefore, the effectiveness of building brand names of some products is low.
In order to approach and increase competitiveness in the market, agricultural and rural products of Yen Bai province need to build up the brand. Therefore, in the short term, it is necessary to review the local agricultural products to build the brand, ensuring that these items must meet the main factors such as large enough volume and stable quality of copper, ensuring food hygiene and safety, competitive prices.
At the same time, strengthening the inspection and supervision of quality so that the products have been building brand to ensure good quality, stable, gradually affirmed "reputation" on the market; promoting trade promotion activities to promote branded products; organizing propaganda and mobilizing farmers to participate in associations and craft villages to unify their views on the application of agricultural production processes, limit spontaneous production, affecting the local product brand.
