The two provinces sign cooperation agreements in the fields in 2019

He briefed the situation of socio-economic development of Yen Bai province in the past years and 10 months of 2018. Yen Bai is a mountainous province in the north of Vietnam. Over the past years, the Party, authorities and people of different ethnic groups in Yen Bai province have always been united and resolved to overcome all difficulties and challenges to bring Yen Bai province to a comprehensive development in all fields: politics, economy, culture, society, defense and security in the spirit of the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress and the 18th Party Congress of Yen Bai province.

The Chairman of Yen Bai provincial People's Committee stressed that the establishment and implementation of cooperative relations between Yen Bai and Xay-Nha-Bu-Ly from 2012 is one of practical and meaningful activities contributing positively, deepening the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, the two States and the two peoples.

In six years, the two provinces have implemented many practical and effective cooperative activities in the fields of exchange of delegations, training, human resource development, health, agriculture and rural development, information technology, military.

The results of cooperation between the two provinces have contributed to the common development of the two provinces, fostering the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos. This is an important premise for the two provinces to continue implementing more extensive and practical cooperation activities in the future.

He affirmed: Yen Bai province always attaches great importance to the development of cooperative relations with other localities of Laos in general and Xay-Nha-Bu-Ly in particular in order to constantly consolidate and strengthen the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation.

Chairman of Yen Bai provincial People's Committee suggested: In the coming time, the two provinces will continue to prioritize the promotion and further development of cooperative activities in the fields of education, training, health care, agriculture, military; strengthen the exchange of delegations aiming to tighten the close ties between two localities.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phổng Sạ Văn SỊT THẠ VÔNG - Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary, governor of Xay-Nha-Bu-Ly province thanked the warm welcome of Yen Bai leaders to the mission of Xay-Nha-Bu-Ly. He also briefed on the socio-economic and cultural development of Xay-Nha-Bu-Ly.

On the direction of cooperation in the future, he proposed for supporting funds from Yen Bai province in 2019, Xay-Nha-Bu-Ly will use to buy 3 machines dialysis and coordination to build the headquarters of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Xay-Nha-Bu-Ly; At the same time, it is desirable for Yen Bai province to create conditions for departments and agencies of the two provinces to exchange delegations to share experiences; promote Yen Bai businesses to survey and invest in Xay-Nha-Bu-Ly.

Mr. Do Duc Duy agreed with the opinions of Mr. Phổng Sạ Văn SỊT THẠ VÔNG, advocated the view of enhancing the relationship between departments and branches between the two provinces and promoting the business to invest in Xay-Nha-Bu-Ly.

Based on the results achieved in the cooperation between the two provinces in the past 6 years, in the coming time, the two provinces will continue to sign cooperation agreements in the fields of exchange of delegations; military; education and training; Information Technology; construction of infrastructure and other activities according to specific contents.
