All levels, sectors and localities have concretized and organized the effective implementation of the Resolutions adopted by the Provincial People's Council - Session 16, contributing to promoting economic development, supporting production and business, ensuring social security such as: Project on housing support for households with meritorious services to the revolution, poor households with special difficulties in housing by 2020; Specific policy supporting agricultural production in 2020 to cope with COVID-19 disease; Policy to support small and medium enterprises in the province in the period of 2020-2025 ...

Measures to remove difficulties for businesses, cooperatives, business households, support people with meritorious services, social protection beneficiaries, workers affected by COVID-19 are seriously and urgently implemented. Specifically, by the end of May 2020, the whole province has provided support to 215,053 people who are people with meritorious services to the revolution, people of poor households, near-poor households, and social protection beneficiaries meeting with difficulties caused by a pandemic COVID-19, with a total of VND 180.9 billion supported. Social security is guaranteed, national security and defense are maintained, people's life is basically stable.

At the meeting, the delegates focused on discussing solutions to remove difficulties in state budget collection; implementing projects and policies of the province to support removing difficulties in socio-economic development, overcoming the influence of COVID-19; disbursement progress of public investment sources; the restoration of cultural and tourism activities in the "new normal" state ...

Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Do Duc Duy - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee recognized and praised the achievements of all levels and sectors in recent years. However, besides the achieved results, he also noted that some targets of the first 4 months of the year affected had no signs of recovery; disbursement progress of public investment has made many changes, but still low; the implementation of the project to support agricultural and forestry production is still slow.

He suggested that, in the coming time, all levels and sectors should continue strictly implementing measures to prevent and control COVID-19; focus on implementing tasks and solutions to remove difficulties for production and business according to the adjusted socio-economic development plan in 2020, associated with the emulation and making achievements to celebrate the Party Congress at all levels for the tenure 2020 - 2025; continue to focus on directing the synchronous and effective implementation of tasks under the Provincial Party's Action Program; Action Program 02 of the Provincial People's Committee; revise each task, adjust the schedule if necessary, from the perspective of continued implementation, without reducing jobs according to the plan built at the beginning of the year (except for some special cases).

Focuse on reviewing, implementing and completing the support to ensure the right policies for the target group of workers, individual business households and those affected by the COVID-19 epidemic according to Resolution 42 of the Government, Decision 15 of the Prime Minister according to the Conclusion of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the online conference on 27/5/2020.

Prepare timely, carefully, ensure the progress and quality of reports, proposals and policies for the 17th meeting - Provincial People's Council. Speed up the review and evaluation of plans, programs, schemes and policies to support socio-economic development, security and defense issued by the Provincial People's Committee in the 2016-2020 period; adjust, supplement and promulgate a new set of policies for the period 2021 - 2025.
