The leaders performed the opening ceremony of the smart city infrastructure system serving the digital transformation of Yen Bai province.

With the high determination and drastic direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, taking the motto "Focus on building a digital social pillar to serve people's lives", with the efforts of the technical staff, construction unit, after a period of construction, the smart city infrastructure system for digital transformation in Yen Bai province has been completed and ready to be put into operation.

The opening of the smart urban infrastructure system in Yen Bai province has laid a solid initial foundation for the deployment of smart city services and applications, e-Government and towards digital transformation in the province, contributing to the successful implementation of one of the seven key tasks set out in the Resolution of the 19th Yen Bai Provincial Party Congress, which is: "Focusing on improving the quality and effectiveness of education; applying scientific and technological advances, innovating and adapting to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, gradually to develope the digital economy and digital society”.

At the Opening Ceremony, the establishment of Intelligent Operation Center and Digital Transformation Center of Yen Bai province was announced.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished that agencies, units and localities would continue to promote, advise and well implement the remaining items so that the project could soon be put into operation and promoted efficiency.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan requested the agencies, units and two Centers to urgently complete the procedures for technology transfer, acceptance and handover of the project's items to put into operation  and exploit effectively for the digital transformation activities of the province.
