Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh presented the painting of Mu Cang Chai terraced fields to the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Kingdom of Thailand

The delegation from Yen Bai province was warmly welcomed by Ambassador Phan Chi Thanh. He provided information to the delegation about the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Thailand, as well as the remarkable achievements in tourism development and collaboration between the two countries in recent times. The Embassy of Vietnam in Thailand is ready to support Yen Bai province in promotional activities, tourism promotion, and service development.

Speaking at the working session, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee, expressed gratitude to the Embassy and Ambassador Phan Chi Thanh for facilitating the meeting and collaboration with tourism agencies and organizations in Thailand. This opportunity will open doors for Yen Bai province to establish partnerships and develop tourism with Thai localities, contributing to the promotion and introduction of the province's tourism products and attracting international tourists to Yen Bai province in the future.

Ms. Hanh also informed about Yen Bai province’s socio-economic situation, potentials, strengths, especially cultural identity, potential, advantages and care in tourism development. he expressed his hope that in the coming time, the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand and Thai tourism agencies and organizations will help Yen Bai province increase promotion, propaganda, and introduction of Yen Bai land and people to international friends; support the province to connect tourism tours and build Yen Bai as a destination along the exploration of the Northwest region of Vietnam.

She affirmed: Yen Bai province is always open to welcome investors and businesses and in the near future, Yen Bai will become one of the destinations attracting domestic and international tourists.

With an open-minded and affectionate attitude towards the beautiful country of Vietnam, the representative from the Tourism Association of Thailand exchanged experiences in tourism development in Thailand. They proposed and expressed their desire to bring tourists from both countries to Thailand and Vietnam.

The representative from the Tourism Association of Thailand also presented ideas to support Yen Bai province in promoting and advancing tourism, including specific activities to further expand and spread Vietnamese Thai dance Art to Thailand and international friends. Additionally, they suggested that Yen Bai province participate in the Thail Investment and Tourism Promotion Conference, scheduled for early 2024.

At the end of the working session, Ambassador Phan Chi Thanh affirmed: With the province's potentials, strengths, and determination, the Embassy of Vietnam in Thailand can assist Yen Bai in organizing tourism promotion activities in Thailand in a systematic and professional manner in the future. Accordingly, the Embassy of Vietnam in Thailand is ready to support Yen Bai in establishing a partnership with a locality in Thailand to collaborate on socio-economic and tourism development. Additionally, it is recommended to explore the possibility of organizing a Yen Bai tourism promotion forum in Thailand at an early stage.
