Leaders of Yen Bai province and Hoa Sen Group undertook the ceremony of beginning construction

Hoa Sen Yen Bai Steel Pipe Factory is invested by Hoa Sen Yen Bai  Building Material One member co., Ltd with an estimated invested capital of 1.050 billion VND, built on the area of over 20 ha in 02 communes of Minh Quan and Bao Hung of Tran Yen district. The factory is expected to produce two kinds of major products including corrugated iron steel and steel pipes, divided into 03 stages. Stage 1 (From 03/2017 - 9/2018): Building 01 production line of corrugated foam iron sheet with a capacity of 4,000 tons/year; 06 production lines of laminating steel pipes with a capacity of 60,000 tons/year.

Stage 2 (From 9/2018 to 3/2020): Building 01 production line of corrugated foam iron sheet with a capacity of 4,000 tons/year; 06 production lines of laminating steel pipes with a capacity of 60,000 tons/year.

Stage 3 (From 3/2020 to 9/2021): Building 01 production line of corrugated foam iron sheet with a capacity of 4,000 tons/year; 10 production lines of laminating steel pipes with a capacity of 10,000 tons/year ;

According to Mr. Tran Ngoc Chu - Vice Chairman of the Board, General Director of Hoa Sen Group, Yen Bai province has mild climate, an abundant natural resource, is an important traffic hub, creating favourable conditions for the trade and distribution of products for the provinces in the northern region. With these available advantages along with the interest of the province in the reform of administrative procedures, development of infrastructure and policies supporting tax incentives, Yen Bai province has been attracting many investors at home and abroad, including Hoa Sen Group. This is the 2nd project of Hoa Sen Group implemented in the province. After completing and coming into operation, Hoa Sen Yen Bai will contribute significantly to the local budget and create jobs for about 400 workers. The construction of Hoa Sen Yen Bai Steel Pipe Factory will also contribute to the improvement of production capacity and optimize the availability of supplying items of corrugated iron steels and steel pipes of Hoa Sen Group, particularly to meet the demand of the northern market.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Duc Duy – Chairman of provincial People’s Committee stated: With the long-term vision, strategy of sustainable development, business culture of "Honesty - Community - Development ", Hoa Sen Group has chosen Yen Bai as the first destination in the Midland and the northern mountainous region to invest in some major projects. The factory manufacturing steel pipes, belonging to the investment project of the Complex of Industry – Commerce – Service – Urban IC12 of Yen Bai province, is one of 11  factories manufacturing steel pipes invested by Hoa Sen Group across the country.

Chairman of provincial People’s Committee Do Duc Duy confirmed: This is the right decision of Hoa Sen Group to decide to expand production and business, exploit the market in the midlands and northern mountainous region, which has many difficulties but rich potentials for growth. Yen Bai highly appreciates proper decision of the Group and committes to implement synchronous and consistent policy of  business companion. The ceremony of beginning construction of Hoa Sen Yen Bai Steel Pipe Factory also states the right policy with the first results of the province in the efforts to improve the investment and business environment; attract and diversify the investment resources for socio-economic development by the resolution of  the provincial Party Congress session XVIII.

The implementation, completion and putting the project into operation will be a highlight of the province's industrial development, which contributes to shift the structure of  the economy and labor towards the sustainable development, to take industrial development as a breakthrough to promote economic growth, creating more jobs and increasing revenue for the State budget. This will also be an important basis, a driving force for Yen Bai province to continue attracting domestic and foreign investors, to exploit the inherent potentials and advantages to make Yen Bai increasingly development and become the economic center of the northwestern region.

The chairman of the provincial People’s Committee suggestes that Hoa Sen Group gatheres  resources to implement the project to ensure the quality and schedule as committed; To strictly comply with the provisions of law on planning, investment, construction and relevant laws, as well as to ensure standards, processes and norms on construction investment. Mr. Do Duc Duy requested the concerned branches, levels and localities to pay attention to and create favorable conditions, coordinate, support and cooperate closely to help the investors in the process of implementating projects so as to put the project into operation and promote efficiency soon.

He requested consultancy organizations, bidders shall prioritize the selection of advanced and modern solutions, technologies and equipment for executing the works, strictly following the provisions of law, ensuring the quality, safety and protecting the environment; not to affect the life, production and living of people near the project.

He believes that with the sense, responsibility and determination of investors, consultants, contractors and the cooperation and support of the Party committees, authorities and people in Yen Bai province, the project will soon complete, put into operation and promote efficiency, contributing to promote the socio-economic development of Yen Bai province in particular and the northwestern region in general, creating a link to attract investment to Yen Bai province and the Northwestern region in the coming years; At the same time, contributing to affirm the position and brand of Hoa Sen Group - a Vietnamese brand, world class, with strategic thinking and long-term vision, raising the potentials and promoting efficency of the northwestern region in particular, the socio-economic development of the country in general in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country.

At the ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Do Duc Duy handed over the certificate of investment project registration to Hoa Sen Group.
