YBP- On January 20th, Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committees issued Decision No 136 on issuing the Plan to attract Foreign Direct Investment in industry, service, agriculture and rural area in Yen Bai province, period 2017-2020.
In industrial field, Yen Bai province will focus in investing synchronously in constructing infrastructure of industrial zone and industrial clusters in order to enhance the capacity to attract foreign investment into mineral production (white limestone, precious stones and kaolin, Feldspar; grafit, iron ore...); agriclutural and forestry production (tea, plywood, wooden furniture...); production of construction (tiles, bricks); Production of leather shoes, garment for export; Assembling cars, motorbikes; Assembling electronic components; Production of standard details, precision molds... Replacing imported goods, serving technology production cars, motors and other specialized machinery and equipment ...
Linking post-harvest processing areas in the direction of industrialization to meet local consumption demands and to export advanced products such as: Constructing and developing son tra planting and processing projects, Developing projects for growing and processing tea and cinnamon products.
