Paragliding Festival "Fly on the Golden Season" is held from September 22 to September 23; Khen Mong Contest is held from September 21 to September 22; Goat fighting Contest is held from September 23 to September 24; "Fast rice harvesting, good ploughing" contest is held on September 25; Highland Fair is held from September 20 to September 30 .

In the framework of the festival, there are also community-based tourism activities in the communes of Che Cu Nha, La Pan Tan, Nam Khat and Mu Cang Chai Town with the following contents: Visitors experience cultural values together with Thai and Mong ethnic communities at tourist spots on terraced fields; Guiding visitors to discover beautiful spots of the national scenery Mu Cang Chai terraces and tourism spot "Mu Cang Chai Ecolodge" in Hua Khat village, Nam Khat commune.
