Yen Bai College of Education and Training received Xaynhabuly students to study in Yen Bai province.

After 6 years of establishment, Yen Bai and Xaynhabuly cooperation has been developing in all fields: polistics, economy, education, healthcare, agriculture and rural development, experince exchanges... and gained good results.

In education and train, since 2012 Yen Bai trained 122 students for xaynhabuly in education, nursing…In 2017-2018, two xaynhabuly students  graduated from Yen Bai College of Education and Training and 10 students graduated from Yen Bai College of Medicine. On September 2018, Yen Bai received 25 Xaynhabuly students to learn in Yen Bai which raised the total students studying in Yen Bai up to 54.

In 2013, Yen Bai province sent 2 teachers to teaching Vietnamese for staffs of departments, localities and pupils in Xaynhabuly in 6 months and training to improve Vietnamese for 10 officials of departments of Bui Nha Bui province during 6 weeks in Yen Bai province.

In 2013, Xaynhabuly province granted scholarship for 2 Yen Bai students in University of Suphanuvong. On August 2018, these two students graduated from University of Suphanuvong.

From 2013-2014, 8 doctors from Xaynhabuly shared experience and improved professional skills in Yen Bai. After that, these doctors applied the knowledge to provide medical examination and treatment for the people of Xaynhabuly district. They also regularly exchanged information with officials of Yen Bai Provincial Health Department, at Yen Bai General Hospital.

commented: "Cooperation activities between the two provinces have been in accordance with the wish of the two localities of Yen Bai – Xaynhabuly and in line with the guiding views of the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam and Laos”. Through the cooperation activities, two province have supported and helped each other in many fields especially in developing eco-society. Two provinces have exchanged many delegations to shared experience in medicine and agriculture; Two province also strengthened training students at universities and colleges for pupils of general education, in which the number of Lao pupils admitted to study in Yen Bai increases gradually after each year”.

After 5 years of establishing cooperation, two provinces implemented the first steps to set up cooperation in defence and security which is the important step in process of implementing effectively and comprehensive cooperation activities in new period. Since then, the two provinces have regularly exchanged delegations to evaluate the results of the coordination agreed cooperative activities in the following year. Exchanging delegations is a good chanel for two sides to exchange about the way to working and solving problems in implementing cooperation activities. From 2012-2018, two provinces Yen Bai – Xaynhabuly exchanged 37 delegations and signed Annual cooperation agreement between the two provinces.
