In the morning of December 17, 2018, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Vi Dong SAY NHA SON- Secretary and Governor of Vientiane Province. At the meeting, the Secretary expressed his pleasure when the delegation of Yen Bai province helped Vientiane to develop investment promotion materials. He also thanked the leaders and people of Yen Bai province for regularly paying attention to help and support officials and people in Vientiane province. Mr. Vi Dong hoped that in the coming time, the two provinces will continue to strengthen the exchange and cooperation in a comprehensive, practical and effective manner in all areas, contributing to the socio-economic development of the two provinces. On behalf of the delegation of Yen Bai province, Mr. Vu Quy Dung thanked the warm welcome of Vientiane province and promised to support Vientiane province to build a complete set of investment promotion materials soon.

After working with some departments of Vientiane, the delegation worked with Mrs. Sinh Kham KHONG THANH VAN - Deputy Governor of Vientiane province and departments, agencies and units of the province. The delegation reported the results after working with some departments of Vientiane as well as information about the contents of the investment promotion document. Mr. Vu Quy Dung said, Vientiane has a lot of potentials and advantages in promoting investment attraction.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Governor of Vientiane Province thanked the support of the delegation of Yen Bai province. The Deputy Governor of the province stressed that this is a very important activity to help Vientiane develop its potentials and strengths, attracting investors to invest in the province. Deputy Governor of Vientiane Province assigned the Department of Foreign Affairs of the two provinces continue to coordinate with the relevant units to implement in detail and soon complete the document to help Vientiane province. Mrs. Sinh Kham expressed the wish in the future the two provinces will continue to further enhance the comprehensive, practical and effective exchange and cooperation in all areas that contribute to the socio-economic development of the two provinces meeting the expectation of the two local people.
