YBP- On March 14th, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the Provincial Competitive Index (PCI) 2016.

The annual report, the 12th of is kind so far, gathers feedback and assessments of the community on the business environment, economic management quality and administrative reform efforts of the municipal and provincial governments across Vietnam.
After many efforts of reforming administrative procedures to facilitate enterprises, improving investment environment, increasing competitiveness index, the PCI 2016 sees the increase of Yen Bai province when ranked 47th with 57,28 points. On PCI report 2015, Yen Bai ranked 51st.
The Provincial Competitive Index (PCI) 2016 sees central Da Nang city continuing topping for the seventh time and the fourth consecutive year.
According to the report, the northern province of Quang Ninh came second with 65.6 points, followed by Mekong Delta Dong Thap province with 64.96 points, southern Binh Duong province with 63.57 points, Vinh Long, 62.76 points and Lao Cai, 63.49 points.
