Chairman of Yen Bai provincial People’s Committee – Do Duc Duy present Certificate satisfactory progress to typical enterprises and entrepreneurs

Mr. Do Duc Duy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Ta Van Long – Deputy Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, leaders of deparments, divisions, districts, towns and city and 130 entrepreneurs in the province attended the meeting.

By the end of 2016, Yen Bai province has 1,585 enterprises with total registered capital of over VND 17.5 thousand billion.

In 2016, 189 enterprises are newly founded with a total registered capital of over VND 1,724 billion. Over the past years, enterprises have overcome difficulties and challenges to maintain stable production and business thus  contributed VND 879 billion to the state budget, accounting for 41% of total provincial revenue. Enterprises have created jobs for nearly 30,000 workers with an average income of VND4.5 million per person in a month. Enterprises have contributed significantly to develop socio-economy development, reduce poverty, ensure social security. 

Rencently, Yen Bai province has focused on deploying the Government's Resolutions on supporting and developing of enterprises, reforming administrative procedures, creating open mechanisms and favorable business environment for enterprises. Therefore, the investment promotion has achieved many outstanding results, the number of investors coming to Yen Bai increased rapidly, including many big investors. In 2016, Yen Bai has issued investment decisions for 38 projects with a total registered capital of nearly VND13,182 thousand billion.

At the conference, entrepreneurs and enteprises raised difficulties and challengies in production: difficulties in capital, mechanism, export tax, land shortage for expanding bussiness…In addition, enterprises also proposed solution for reforming administrative procdedures to create favorable conditions for production as well as attract investment into the province.  Enterprises also expressed hopes that Yen Bai would continue to create more conditions for businesses to develop in the future.

Mr. Do Duc Duy affirmed that Yen Bai considered enterprises is both falcrum and internal force for the province to develop, speaking at the meeting with enterprises in early 2017. Mr. Duy believed that Yen Bai business community and entrepreneurs will have a stronger development, faster and deeper integration and contribute more to the socio-economic development of the province aand make Yen Bai become a fast-growing, sustainable province.

He stressed that the Resolution of the XVIII Provincial Party Congress had determined the objective of mobilizing and efficiently using all resources for economic development with reasonable and sustainable growth rate; Improve the quality and competitiveness of the economy to make Yen Bai develop comprehensively and sustainably and become a relatively developed province in the Northern Midlands and Mountains.

In order to achieve that goal, Mr. Do Duc Duy suggested that all levels and branches should renovate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of state management capacity of enterprises; All levels and branches well orient and promote investment, provide information, guild and support enterprises to implement the procedures and procedures for the establishment, registration and organization of the enterprise; Enhance the inspection, supervision and resolutely handle strictly organizations and individuals causing difficulties and obstacles to enterprises.

Build the creative - developed government to implement comprehensively and effectively solutions to remove difficulties for production and business activities, improve the investment environment and raise the provincial competitiveness; Supporting enterprises by building and implementing mechanisms and policies to support investment and production in accordance with the process of integration and the actual conditions of the province. Regularly monitoring and directing to remove difficulties and problems for enterprises, especially in the fields of land, land clearance, labor, science and technology, capital, branding and market development...to support enterprises to increase labor productivity, access and expand domestic and foreign markets.

Focusing on planning products, sectors and planning raw material areas to help enterprises to build strategies for business investment , deploy projects. Urging investors to accelerate projects into operation.

Specially, all levels, branches and localities have immediatelly to issue measures to support enterprises to remove difficulties and obstacles.

Mr. Do Duc Duy For suggested enterprises to study execute lines and policies on business investment, land and natural resources planning and environment protection; Fulfill all obligations to the State and to employees and customers; Promote dynamism, initiative and creativity in the market economy and international economic integration; Study and grasp the province's socio-economic development orientations in the fields and policies of the state; Build appropriate business strategies. Focus on developing areas of breakthrough that the province has the potential and advantages which contribute to sustainably reducing poverty, increasing income and living standard of workers by establishing small and medium enterprises…
